Christopher is an Architect licensed in California and Arizona.
Born in Los Angeles and raised in Southern California, Colorado, Texas & Arizona; he received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Arizona State University. His project experience encompasses Residential, Commercial, Retail, Institutional and Mixed-Use projects located throughout California, the Pacific Northwest and the Southwest. His designs reflect the many influences of both the regions and communities in which he has worked and lived.
His work focuses on the Client program with sustainable responses to local conditions. His design philosophy seeks a sustainable design balanced with the functional needs through a wholistic and organic approach to each project while addressing Client budget and time constraints.
With his partner Albert Andres, K+A is able to provide architectural and planning services that include programming, land planning, community workshops, design guidelines, feasibility studies, conceptual design through design development, construction documents, energy analysis, project 3D modeling, and the coordination with the project consultants and the construction team.
Albert is a Land Planner and Designer in Southern California. He is a LEED Accredited Professional and a State Licensed Home Energy Rater(HERS Rater) with CalCerts, Inc. in California.
Albert has also attended courses at the ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, Ca. in Graphic Design, Web Development and Environmental Design and has taken courses for computer 3D modeling using Form Z, SketchUp & Revit CAD programs at Orange Coast College and the ArtCenter College of Design.
Albert was also an Adjunct Professor at California State University Fullerton teaching a class on Sustainability and Green Architectural Design with his partner Christopher Koch.
Albert has provided design and planning services for projects located in North America, Mexico, Japan and China.
